Last month's meeting was cancelled due to the poor weather, so we all looked forward to April. This month we had Show and Tell scheduled, with a Stash sale to raise funds for Cancer Research. We also set the Challenge to be viewed at the December meeting. This year we have chosen Buildings and Monuments as the theme, with a maximum size A3 (16 1/2 by 11 3/4), portrait or landscape.
There were several finished projects on show, firstly Marion had finished the group quilt we started as a result of the English paper piecing demo's we had last year. It does look spectacular, thank you to Marion for her efforts to assemble it, thanks also to those who helped cut and sew the joining hexagons. This quilt will be donated to Project Linus

This Star quilt was also by Marion for donating to Project Linus.
Here is a very cute little quilt with Pandas. It has taken some time to complete and will be used as a wall hanging for the guest room.
These are finished projects from meetings and workshops.

We would like to thank Pat and Chris for bringing along the stash sale, and our members for their generosity in raising £139.50 for cancer Research. The sale was on behalf of the family of Gaye Poll, one of the original members of the Quilters of Sutton group, set up to raise funds for the 2012
Twin Town Quilting exhibition.
