May update 4

Another week of lock-down and a few more projects to view.

CH has been busy, partly due to a gardening accident resulting in a rest. We wish you a speedy recovery.

Rainbow hanging

Linus quilt in spring colours

Knitted unicorns
CD finished this Easy Stack quilt  (pattern by Paula Doyle), started last summer at a workshop with Linda Seward. Each square is quilted differently, making the back interesting.

This pattern is called A Quilters Christmas from Brenda Walker's Country Folk range. They are too good to keep for Christmas, so made up as a garland for the sewing room. I may make another set in Christmas colours.

May update 1

Hello, I hope everyone is safe, well and busy. Lock-down is certainly giving some of us a lot of sewing time, particularly with the wet weather over the last week.

Another two Linus quilts, the first from Celia H

The second, a scrap box quilt, from Christine D

Some of us have been making PPE for the NHS. A kingsize sheet will make 10 scrubs bags.
