5th February 2015

Our first meeting back after Christmas, and an easy relaxing evening to get us back into the swing of things. General housekeeping, first of all, to keep us all informed on the coming months activities. The date was set for the French Town Twinning Exhibition in March 2016 and a request made for quilts to be made on the theme of Communication.  And a quick discussion on making things to help raise funds for the club, that could be sold on our stands for the summer fairs we attend.  With these two activities in mind, we set to work catching up on the past few weeks while, discussing ideas for quilts and crafty items that could be sold on the stand.

Many people had brought along a small project to be getting on with, while the room filled with chatter and laughter! A theme seemed to appear this month amongst the group - English Paper Piecing - of various kinds.
