August meeting

The August meeting saw the completion of two more Linus quilts, taking our total for the year to four. We have another  eleven blocks, so nearly another quilt. This has been an enthusiastically supported project and produced some much needed quilts for boys/young men.

We also had offers for quilts to be shown at the Surrey Regional day on 20th September in Bookham. This invitation by Region 2 of the Quilters Guild of the British Isles, has given us a great opportunity to show the type of things we get up to as individuals and a group.
