May Meeting

We have had a fantastic response to the T-shirt blocks for project Linus quilts. So far we have assembled 3 quilts with enough blocks for another 2.

This meeting we were ready to back and quilt our T-shirts.

 One member, Maggs, has made a whole a quilt with this block.

 Maggs has been busy making another project Linus quilt. The original design was a bit 'boring' so she appliqued some bright flowers and made it lovely.

We had a show and tell for our workshop with Paula Doyle, who came to teach us her Giant Dahlia quilt. Some of us had done some sewing over the Easter holidays and progressed well, whilst others of us had been less industrious, so not so much progress made.
