First meeting 2020

This month we are making collapsible thread catchers, very handy for keeping bits of thread and fabric from getting all over your clothes and on the floor. As they fold down neatly, ideal for travelling too. Lots of variety in the chosen fabrics. Here is a YouTube video link for a slightly smaller version.

Not much for Show and Tell this month, this little Elephant quilt is for a grand daughter called Ellie.

And some handbag tissue covers in process.

One member has a friend who is having a clear out, so we have been donated some orphan blocks for our Linus quilt project, starting next month. There were also a couple of quilt tops for finishing, these were off to Project Linus too.
