5th Marh 2015

The meeting started with several dates for the diary.  Our Community Fairs this year are Sunday 21st June (Please note: Not 27th/28th) and Sunday 5th July - this will be the first time we will be selling items to help raise funds.  Project Linus Days in May with Liz are Tuesday 12th and 19th, Thursday 14th and 21st, Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th.  Further details can be found in the email circulated by QoS.  If you want to help on any of these days, please contact Liz directly.

A mass of finished quilts for Project Linus.... Including three QoS group quilts - found here.

A personal finished project, using the Jennie Rayment style of twisting and folding fabric - a stunning example.

And then back to the evenings activities..... although we are very much a quilting group, most members have varying talents, and it is most interesting seeing the variety of projects being worked on during the evening.

Wonderful vibrant quilts....

Finishing a block from the Sudoku panel....

Snails path....

Some finishing touches to a couple of Project Linus Quilts...

A major theme again was English Patchwork and (oddly) Christmas - really, as a quilter you know its never too early to start on Christmas Projects.

Can you see how tiny these are compared to the biscuit!!

Christmas....

Next meeting is April 2nd. We welcome new members at any of the meetings - we have a massive amount of knowledge between us, and someone is always willing to offer advise or help when needed.
