This meeting was Christmas themed projects and nibbles. Christmas projects are not compulsory so there was a variety of work on show. The Christmas projects this year were birds. on offer were a robin and a dove made from felt or a semi circle bird which could be made from felt, fabric or crazy patchwork. the patterns can be found here

As we have a limited amount of time and space on a Thursday, hand work is much in evidence, whether piecing or finishing a quilted item or one of the other handicrafts our members are gifted with.

Lastly, here is a lovely interactive fabric book made for a grandchild. I would not mind one of these myself it is such fun.
